EIF Launches SAR 491 Million Riyadh Shooting & Entertainment Complex
RIYADH: The Events Investment Fund (EIF), established by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the National Development Fund, has announced its first major project — the Riyadh Shooting Range & Entertainment Complex — with an investment exceeding SAR 491 million (over USD 131 million).
Unveiled during the inaugural TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, the project marks a significant milestone in developing Saudi Arabia’s event and entertainment infrastructure.
Located just 40 minutes from Riyadh, within Qiddiya City — the world’s first city built around the Power of Play — the complex spans 457,000 square meters and will feature a world-class shooting sports facility that meets International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) standards. It will host international and national competitions and offer professional and amateur training in pistol, rifle, and shotgun disciplines.
The venue is designed to accommodate major global tournaments such as the Asian Games, World Cups, and Olympic events, with full support from the Saudi Shooting Federation.
In addition to the shooting facilities, the Entertainment Complex will include interactive experiences such as paintball, airsoft, laser tag, and virtual shooting, catering to families and corporate groups. The project is expected to create more than 2,300 jobs and attract over 400,000 visitors annually.
EIF CEO Wahdan Suliman Alkadi stated: “The Riyadh Shooting Range marks a major milestone in the journey of the Events Investment Fund. This development reflects our commitment to creating world-class venues that enhance Saudi Arabia’s event infrastructure, stimulate investment, and support Vision 2030 goals.”
Muhannad AlDawood, Chief Strategy Officer of Qiddiya Investment Company, added: “We’re delighted to welcome EIF’s first landmark project to Qiddiya City. This facility represents another step in transforming Qiddiya into a global destination for play, sports, and entertainment.”
EIF plans to announce additional projects across other Saudi cities next year, reinforcing its goal of developing sustainable event infrastructure that enhances quality of life, supports economic diversification, and strengthens Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global destination for leisure and sport.
